This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A printer, ink and printing paper are essential in our classroom. We use ink and paper on a daily basis and unfortunately, it goes very quickly. Our classroom printer also broke and we are lost without it! We print our writing pieces, guided reading materials, math materials, and many other things.

Teaching a special education self-contained room means giving work to fit each child’s unique and individual needs.

Please help by giving my students a printer, ink and printing paper so that they can have work to fit their individual needs.

Having ink and printing paper gives my students the opportunity to print out work they work so diligently on. It also allows me to print things on the spot for kids that I see struggling with something. Special education students can often times get frustrated or upset. Having a printer in the classroom helps them as I print out materials such as journal prompts, coloring pages, etc. to help them when they are having a difficult time.
