This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in a Title I school. Many of my students live in poverty. They want to be in school and they want to learn. However, when they come to class, they are often unprepared and have great difficulty paying attention in order to learn the material presented.

Since my students' lives can be so chaotic, I try my best to provide a positive, calm and loving learning environment and I am always looking for every advantage possible for them to focus and learn in order to be successful!

My Project

While my students are in school learning, sitting and copying notes for an extended period of time is not the hands-on experience I desire for them. Being able to print important notes and worksheets will benefit the students tremendously.

Unfortunately, due to the recent budget cuts schools are facing, teachers in my school are no longer being supplied with copy paper or printer ink.

Supplying my class with printer ink and copy paper will help my students immensely. Your help is desperately needed to help our room function properly. Parents, students, and myself all depend on printer ink and paper for our class to run well. This can only happen with your aid. Please help us!
