it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach fourth graders in an inner-city school in New Jersey. I love my job and find it to be one of the most rewarding feelings when I can change or influence one student's outlook on something. This year, I have 48 students from a variety of ethnic backgrounds and neighborhoods. This up-coming school year, I would like to provide each student with their own data and growth binder, so that they may set their own academic and personal goals and monitor their academic growth. Any donations I receive for my classroom are greatly appreciated by myself, my students, and my parents! I am proud to be a DonorsChoose.org classroom!
My Project
This year, I am working in a co-teaching environment and we have a total of 48 students coming into our classroom. In the past, my students have enjoyed using our color printer for their writing assignments and publications that they have created. Now, due to the increased class size, we need an extra printer that can also handle copying their assignments.
This year, I am focusing my instruction on a lot of small group, collaborative assignments, and my students need to make copies of their work for peer editing.
The students will be able to provide copies for each member of their groups.
