My Project

I have run out of prints for the school year for activities for my students. This means that the majority of their work will need to be pushed out through their iPads and they will be on a screen all day. If I raise enough money to get this printer, I will be able to supply my students with the materials they need for a better education.

We live in a world where everything is pushed out through technology, and students suffer through this.

Children these days have enough screen time as it is I do not want my students to be zombies in front of an iPad all day. I want my students to be able to do their work with pencil and paper in hand, developing their crucial skills, and then using technology to enrich their education, not be the driving force behind all they do.

I want my students to be able to complete meaningful activities developing their learning and fine motor skills. As a teacher, I am responsible for raising up the future of our world and we need a future who can read and write. First grade is known for being an extremely pivotal year for teaching students how to read and write. Without a reliable printer for resources, this won't be possible.

I have an extremely special group of kids. They are sweet, loving, and extremely motivated to learn. They deserve the world, and meaningful activities is the least I can give them.
