My students have been working hard on math and science with me this year.
They are always so willing to work.
Located in South Carolina, our small school district is home to students PreK-12th grade.
Our school is 100% free lunch and breakfast, and many of my students receive food bags on the weekends. They have lived through a lot in their lives; hunger, poverty, illness, and death.
These students accept learning challenges and are engaged with the current online learning that exists due to social distancing. Although some barriers exist that will impact the learning of my students.
My Project
Many of my students do not have a computer or internet access at home. Printed activities is the only way they will be ensured activities to facilitate them while they are at home. The paper will be used to print games, activities and to help them while they are home. Some parents are not able to even provide a pencil for these students so this will provide them with a school assignment and a pencil to complete the assignment. Many parents are bearly able to provide food for these students.
