My Students

Make our vision come true! Our students are writing articles for a multidisciplinary Spanish magazine this semester. They have been going through the process of drafting and editing, and as we approach the publishing deadline, we would love our students to see a top-quality final product.

Our students are a diverse group of New York City high school girls.

Being a school with a high population of native Spanish speakers, our Spanish department has been challenged with the task of creating engaging projects for native Spanish speakers, while teaching Spanish as a foreign language to the non-Spanish speakers. We came up with the idea to have the Spanish speakers publish a magazine that their peers will eventually be able to read.

My Project

The magazine that our Spanish students are creating is a huge undertaking and we want them to be rewarded and take pride in the final product. Seeing their articles come to life through stylized fonts and colorful images will be an exciting and brand new experience for all of our students.

Inspire our students to be bilingual journalists!

Show them the fruits of their labor! With a beautiful final product that we can display throughout our school, this project will be the reward for this group of students, and the inspiration for students in the coming years.
