Printer Cartridges and Wi-Fi Speakers for Bold and Engaging Presentations
My students need ink for the classroom's printer because a large percentage of the Jersey City population do not have a printer at home. We also need a speaker for multimedia presentations.

My Students
Jersey City is the most fascinating and interesting place to teach high school.
My students are mostly from outside the US - countries of birth are India, Pakistan, the Philippines, Nepal, Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Guyana, Venezuala, Mexico, Guatemala, Argentina, Spain, Kenya, Ghana, Trinidad, Vietnam, Thailand and Iraq.
The average SAT score is 1800 - students in the most recent graduating class were accepted to Yale, Harvard, Princeton, Columbia, Cornell, NYU, Johns Hopkins, Boston College, Oberlin, Stevens Tech and many other academically competitive colleges. The students excel in Math, Science, Physics and Economics. They are highly engaged and enjoy competing in challenges sponsored by the Council of Economic Education and H&R Block. They have strong soft skills as well, exhibiting leadership qualities, effective communication, willingness to listen/accept direction and supportive of peers.
My Project
This project will make a difference as students will be able to print hard-copies of their PowerPoints, homework and other important educational content using Staples color and black printer ink. The library does not allow the students to print in color.
The Bose WiFI speaker will allow students to clearly hear the educational videos we watch on economics, business and financial literacy.
We have been using an inexpensive speaker for the last 2 years. The speaker components are tiny and rattle. I want to invest in a higher quality Bose speaker which will last longer and have better audio quality.
