My Students

Second graders are some of the best people in the world. Old enough to have a meaningful interaction with but young enough to try all the fun things. They are becoming people at this age. They are curious about EVERYTHING. They have some foundational skills and are starting to engage in higher level thinking.

They are readers and mathematicians and writers and artists.

School is a fun place for them. My class is in a Title 1 school and is comprised of students from all walks of life. My kids care about each other and the world. Our class is a place where anyone can fit in. I love to share new experiences with them.

My Project

Second graders love to create. In our classroom, student often create colorful projects and written work using our ipads. However, we have no way to print their work. Many of our Title I families do not have access to the technology they would need to see their children's work. Using the school district print shop is prohibitive in cost and efficiency.

Having an Epson WorkForce Printer would provide easy and immediate access for students to share their creations within the school and with their families.

Really, having access to a high volume printer could open so many new doors! We will be able to print our writing and access projects that otherwise our school budget might not allow.
