This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a group of kids from diverse backgrounds in a large, urban, middle school. More than eighty percent of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch and face economic hardships at home. Their families are not always able to provide the supplies they need for school.

Despite the many obstacles they face, my students are hard-working and determined to learn as much as they can, graduate high school, and head to college.

They come to my classroom (or join virtually) smiling and excited to be there, and they work hard in class and at home.

My Project

I want to have quick and easy access to a printer to print materials my students need. The only printers I can use are downstairs and far away.

Help me keep my classroom moving quickly by allowing me to print for students in the room.

I'll be able to print materials for student projects but also I'll be able to print one or two worksheets for students who are ready for a challenge and ready to learn the next thing. Or for students who need a quick review. Having a printer in the room will help me meet ALL my students needs.
