Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our main focus at our school is teaching and learning. We have been instilling this concept of education into our scholars for the last two years because we believe that education is their freedom.

Many of our scholars are underprivileged kids that need a lot of help and one on one training.

Many of them have set goals of using track and field as a way to attain scholarships in addition to their academics. I am proud to say that they have it in their minds that if they start early in middle school, they will be ready to compete for scholarships through this sport.

My Project

The printer will be used for students to print their assignments when needed. It will also be used to send notices home, to decorate their learning environment, and to print lesson plans.

Each month, we have a family night at our school and the Bingo set will be a great addition to our family night.

We will have teachers donate cakes, cookies, and brownies as prizes for the Bingo game. The index cards will be used to write our weekly vocabulary words and adhere to the word wall. We will then play a swatting game with those words using fly swatters. This provides practice in a fun way.
