Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help support the High School's Pride Club. Students of the LGBTQ+ community, and their supporters, come together once a week to support one another and discuss issues relevant to their lives.
Decorations and supplies would help give this club the momentum to attract new members, and the support the club needs to create a welcoming environment for its members during after school meetings.
Monies would be used to purchase pride decorations, and a variety of drinks and snacks to be used during the groups' meetings.
There is a great need to create a supportive environment for these students.
