Preserving Work

Help me give my students supplies that we need for the classroom. Laminating sheets allow us to create things that can be used year after year. The books are new award winning books for our students!

My Project

The students I have the privilege of teaching are incredible human beings. They love learning and working together as they try new things. The materials selected in this project will allow students to continue their journey.

Jane Addams Awards are books that are incredibly written and illustrated books which introduce Social Justice topics to students.

These books can cover everything from race, women's rights, religious rights, etc. The opportunity to read and study the books allows students to become aware of issues in our society that they will face throughout their lives. Students won't be taught what to think, but how to treat others with kindness even if they do not share the same beliefs.

Finally, the laminating sheets will allow me to create materials that can help enhance the lessons. Pictures are used to teach retells. By laminating the supplies it saves on materials and allows things to be used over and over again!
