Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Providing students with the tools they need to learn, process and retain information is crucial to success in the classroom. With the gift of a laminator, printer, and history games, my students have the resources to not only learn history but truly engage with and retain that knowledge.

Our classroom goal is to ensure that every student is able to learn and grow, regardless of their specific needs.

This is why we have a diverse range of learners, including general education, special education, and English language learners. While each of these groups may require different methods for learning, they are all equally driven to gain knowledge and succeed in their studies.

For our special education learners, the use of visual aids and hands-on projects can be especially beneficial. The laminator allows us to create durable visual aids, while the printer allows us to create custom worksheets and assignments tailored to their specific needs.

For our English language learners, history games provide an engaging way to learn English while also learning about American history. The visual component of the laminator helps to reinforce vocabulary and concepts they may have learned in class.

Ultimately, the combination of resources provides our students with a dynamic and engaging learning experience. With these tools, we are able to tailor our teaching approach to each individual student, ensuring they have the support they need to succeed.
