it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are back to school! This September, my Environmental Science students will be working on project-based learning. They will be challenged with creating their own environmental businesses. In the years since COVID, students have suffered learning loss, sickness, mental health struggles, and so much more. We need to get back to the basics in the classroom which means providing students with basic classroom needs so they can achieve their project goals.
Every classroom need basic supplies to get through the school year and in our school, we are only budgeted $100 - obviously, this is not enough to get us through the entire school year.
These basic classroom items, including tape, a laminator, and laminating sheets, will go a long way toward providing students with essentials that they need to complete these business projects. Especially in a science classroom, where so much is written out in equations, word problems, and essays, students will sorely need to have these organizational items through the year. We want our students to be as successful as possible!
