Preschoolers Build with Themed Magna-Tiles

Help me give my students animal and themed magna-tile sets for our block area.

My Project

My students are 2- to 4-year-old children with special needs in an ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) classroom. The majority of my students have speech and language impairments and/or behavior difficulties. They are very curious and energetic students who love to explore.

My students love building with magnetic blocks.

I have a small set of Magna-Tiles currently in my block area. I am requesting sets of Magna-Tiles that contain themed play sets like the forest, arctic region, and construction site. Other sets include a farm, a schoolhouse, and a dinosaur set. These blocks will coordinate with the preschool curriculum and units that I use in my classroom. I'm excited to rotate these themed magna-tile sets in my block area to coordinate with the different little people sets.

My students will have fun building with these blocks, and I can’t wait to watch how they incorporate the Magna-Tiles with the other toys in the block area.
