This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

One of the best experiences for preschoolers is being outside while taking in nature. Preschoolers enjoy putting their hands in sand and soil and touching the different textures in plants. Our students received a few weeks of gardening class at the beginning of the school year and they would like to continue learning more about plants. The planters in this project will encourage students to use their senses as they learn to care for plants.

Sometimes our little ones are anxious and having a garden will allow them to engage in grounding exercises.

Gardening can be very therapeutic. We are asking for three pots and a wind sock. Thank you for taking the time to read our project and invest in education especially at the preschool level.
