Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My preschool special education class needs help to learn how to clean up their outdoor toys. At the beginning of the school year, teachers set the rules and tone for the school year. Right now we don't have a storage space for outdoor toys because the storage shelves we had were broken and had to be thrown away. Teaching children to put their toys away when they are through playing with them and at the end of the play period is an important part of our curriculum. Further, while cleaning up the students also learn cooperation and communication - which are both important life skills. However, without a storage area, I will not be able to adequately teach this essential skill to my students. Please help my special needs preschoolers get off to a good start this school year. Thank you for considering this proposal.
