This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Butterfly nursery will allow my preschool students to explore life science throughout our creative curriculum investigations. We are always looking for ways to enhance our science area while providing engaging, exciting and intentional learning experiences. The caterpillars, butterfly nursery, spaceship and light panel will allow students to explore life science while developing vocabulary, language/literacy and foundational preschool skills as they analyze, compare, communicate and manipulate the much needed materials.

Young children learn best when using hands-on materials.

The spaceship, catepillars, tabletop light panel (x-ray investigation), butterfly nursery, and will give them that opportunity. Each year, we teach preschool students about life cycles and the many things that make them so special. We look forward to continuing our journey of learning while developing social-emotional skills in an engaging, exciting and educational environment.
