Preschool Play-Based Speech Therapy Toys

My Project

Working in two elementary schools, over half of my speech therapy caseload are preschool students from ages 3-5. These toys will be used for play-based speech and language therapy. Students are excited and motivated to play with toys!

Child-directed play is a great way to target natural, functional communication skills.

Speech Therapists often spend their own money to purchase new and exciting toys that the elementary schools just don't have on hand.

I work in two early childhood classrooms, as well as kindergarten classrooms, and have small group speech therapy sessions with preschoolers. This variety of toys will be split amongst those classrooms at two low-socioeconomic status, bilingual elementary schools. Thank you for supporting our learning!
