My Project

Picasso’s creativity has been revered by millions of people. We might not be touching millions of lives, but our preschool class loves to paint! The easel is always a busy place in our classroom.

Painting allows preschoolers to express their emotions, create pleasing works of art, and convey ideas.

Our preschoolers also strengthen their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination while painting. Many of our students are learning English as a second language or are delayed in developing language. While painting, adults can engage students in conversations about the colors and shapes they are making as well as asking them to describe their work. The paint and paper requested in this project will keep our easel and art area well stocked for the students to explore.
