This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Literacy is the foundation for all other academic knowledge and skills. Preschoolers love nursery rhymes, book browsing and story time. Help me build up my classroom book collection to create a literacy center my students will enjoy for years to come. This project is full of classic stories, nursery rhymes and manipulatives for students to explore. These items will expand knowledge, understanding, communication and critical thinking skills. Students will be able to build, create and learn with these items while having fun and doing what little learners do best, play!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
