Help me give my students at home learning! These supplies will help me print, prepare, and send home materials that will help my students learn and succeed while having school from home.
The students in my classroom are mostly English as a second language (ESL) students who come from immigrant families. The children are all "at risk" students who thrive in being in a shared-control classroom where the lessons and activities are designed around their interests to keep them engaged and wanting to learn more.
The students learn best by having hands on, open-ended experiences.
These experiences provide them with an opportunity to learn by doing. This helps to build upon their curiosity which helps fuel the fire for a love for learning.
My Project
Teaching preschool students at home requires sending home a lot of materials and supplies. Ink, paper, and cardstock will allow me to print and prepare materials for my students to use at home. The gallon bags and sandwich bags will provide me a way to package up the materials to send home with families.
Even learning from home should be hands-on!
Dry erase markers and erasers will help my students be able to draw and write on their whiteboards as well as be able to trace and write on sheets placed in the page protectors. The Wikki Stix will be a fun and different way to practice creating shapes, making letters, as well as a creative outlet.
