"Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning." -Mr. Rogers. Students learn best by doing! The supplies I have chosen will provide the students with opportunities to act out different careers and scenarios they see happening in the world around them. They will be able to learn through their play. The students will be able to be doctors, firefighters, police officers, moms, and dads. They will be able to use the doctor tools to give check ups. They will be able to use the baby bottles to feed the baby dolls. They will be able to dress up as firefighters and police officers to keep our classroom safe. Then once the play is done, they can use the bins to put the toys away and keep them organized to use another day.
