Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The advanced welding class at our high school focuses attention on the refinement of skills in service of creating more productive and career-ready students.
Perhaps the most important of these is precision measurement, as it is a foundational element of all design and manufacturing.
Mastering these skills is needed to learn more challenging methods of fabrication, run complex machinery, and face many other challenges embedded in this class and beyond.
Precision measurement does not happen with rulers and tape measures however. Donations to this project will help provide my students with the necessary precision instrumentation they need to sharpen their skills, and prepare for success in the industry.
