Preparing to Write & Sew!

Help me give my students a reliable printer and a dress form for Fashion Class.

My Project

My High School Fine Arts studio classroom is in need of a reliable printer for students to access, and a dress form for the Fashion students to practice with. These items would benefit 9th and 10th graders who may use the printer on occasion to print out a reference photo from which to plan an artwork, and my 11th grade Fashion class students will use both the printer and the dress form.

As we move away from relying on digital devices in the classroom, the printer will come in handy for written prompts such as writing an Artist Statement or a written reflection on a piece of artwork that my students have completed.

For the Fashion students that I teach, we have a real need for dress forms that the students can use to plan a garment that they intend to sew.

We are so grateful for the assistance in obtaining these two valuable items for our art studio. The Fine Arts students that I have the pleasure of working with are hard-working, passionate young people who have a genuine desire to grow and develop as artists and thinkers, and these items will assist them in that development.
