Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The last time I saw my 5th grade students was on March 12th, when I told them to have a great long weekend, and I couldn't wait to see them on Monday. That was the last time I saw my students for this academic year.
I want to encourage my students to keep learning while they are at home.
I teach reading to two different groups of students, and writing to one group. By creating this project, I will be able to supply them with some essential materials. Some of my students have not received technology yet, and some don't have internet to use. This will give all of my students things to work on while they are learning at home and to help continue preparing them for middle school.
My Project
My students are doing a great job continuing to work at home and keep up with their learning. I want to help them continue this great work! We have all heard about the summer slide, but we are now worried about a bigger slide. This workbook will give students another opportunity to continue learning throughout the rest of the school year, and the summer.
I want to see my kids be incredibly successful in middle school!
Unfortunately I will not teach my students again in person, but I want to prepare them for the next step in their academic careers.
