My Project

My students are always curious, resilient learners who are preparing to take on the challenges of the school year. They come to class with diverse backgrounds and big dreams, but many lack the basic organizational tools that bridge the gap between "getting through the day" and truly mastering a subject. By providing these materials, you are ensuring that every student walks through my door on Day One feeling equipped, valued, and ready to learn.

This project is about building the infrastructure for success for all.

The graphing notebooks will serve as a "Living Textbook." Students will curate their own math references, tracking their progress and visualizing complex problems throughout the entire year. In our English Language Arts block, the composition notebooks will act as reading logs. These will be spaces for students to document their journeys through our class novels, fostering a lifelong love for deep reading and reflection. Planners are the first step toward independence. By teaching students to track deadlines and goals now, we are helping them form the organizational habits they will need throughout their entire educational careers. Finally, the storage system will transform our classroom into a streamlined environment. When a classroom is organized, students learn the value of stewardship and gain a sense of calm that allows them to focus entirely on their studies.
