My Project

The students at my school are so fascinated each and every time we get new books in our library. They are amazed at the different types of texts and books that are actually out there! This project will bring current texts that are being considered for the Caldecott Award into our library. Books like The Sun is Late and So is the Farmer and How to Eat a Book that have amazing illustrations would be a part of this collection.

Your donation will bring the most current texts into our library, where students who usually do not have access to current literature and come from various backgrounds, will have access to some of the highest recommended, must-have books!

It is my focus this year to update this library and give students access to as many high quality materials as possible. The Caldecott Award is specifically for books that have outstanding illustrations. I would love for my students to have the opportunity to have access to these books.
