PreK Fun in the Snow!!

Help me give my students the opportunity to play outside in the snow. The water proof mittens and snow pants will allow me to take my class outdoors to play in the snow.

My Project

Outdoor play is important for children - even in the winter. I teach Universal Prekindergarten in a title one school district. Not all the children have snow pants and most do not have waterproof mittens. These waterproof mittens and snow pants will help me take my students outdoors to play in the snow while also helping them stay warm and dry. We have been talking about things we can do in the snow. The children are excited to make snowmen, snow angles, foot prints, and taking sled rides. We just need the appropriate clothing to keep us warm and dry while have enjoying ourselves in the snow.

These snow pants and water proof mittens will help me provide my students with memorable experiences of playing in the snow at school.

I have the pleasure of working with a wonderful group of four and five year old Prekindergarten children. They are curious, fun-loving, and energetic children with a desire to lean. They are looking forward to having the opportunity to have fun in the snow.
