My Project

I would love for my students to be able to pretend to be Police officers, Firefighters, Doctors, Scientists, Nurses, Veterinarians, and Construction workers! They would love to pretend to work in a Bakery, Ice Cream Shop, Pizza Restaurant, or Grocery Store! We could create skill-building centers that support imaginative play, literacy, math, and social-emotional growth. Students would have fun and learn in a hands-on way. The benefits from pretend play are numerous, for example learning how to work together, problem solving, math, literacy, fine and gross motor, and much more!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
