My Project

It’s important to start working with children on building their fine motor skills early on. Fine motor skills gradually build for students as they do activities to help strengthen their muscles and coordination.

Puzzle play is a great time to build cognitive and fine motor skills, but it can also be a time to build social, emotional, and language skills.

During puzzle play, children will learn to see patterns, shapes, and colors, in the pieces as well as in the complete picture.

When the students work on the puzzles with peers, they also describe their strategies to one another and work through difficulties collaboratively.
