Pre-kids Need to Rest Comfortably!

My students need cots for their resting time, and a cot carrier. The mats they use now keep ripping.

My Students

At my school, my three and four-year-old students are of mixed backgrounds (White, including many Polish, Spanish and African-American), and they are eager learners. They just need the tools to help them explore their world.

Many have hardworking parents who desire their children have an enriched Pre-K experience.

The students are well behaved and attentive. They are inquisitive and have a desire to learn. Words can't describe what a three/four-year-old is capable of. They are like sponges at this age! Their brains absorb everything.

My Project

My Pre-K kids are required to rest daily for a half hour. Children at this age need to nap in order to grow and function well. They grow while they sleep!

The mats they are using are ripping and falling apart.

The mats are also very uncomfortable. They are thin and not adequate for laying on for long amounts of time. The children rarely fall asleep because of the poor quality of the mats.

These cots would be very beneficial for the children because they would rest more comfortably and fall asleep more often. They would stack nicely on the carrier and take up less space then all the old mats.
