This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
If my project is fully funded, I will be able to launch into the new school year by building a safe community in the classroom by participating in read alouds. "Nuestra clase es una familia" sets the tone for the students and their classmates by building a sense of community and friendship. This is especially important since this is many of the students first time being away from home. By having a clean classroom, I can work to ensure my students come to school every day healthy and ready to learn.
