Help me give my students the tools to encourage writing and organization in our Pre-Kindergarten classroom.

My Project

My Pre-K kiddos this year, are a loving and sometimes needy bunch.

We are focused on helping them become more independent with life skills as well as classroom routines.

They are also extra fidgety this semester. This is causing our shared supply caddies to become a mess every single day. Sometimes there are even mini battles over who will grab the longest pencil first. I think it’s time to pivot with this system before it’s too late.

My plan is to go back and create individual supply pouches for them, so they can keep track of their own writing tools. I hope this will cut down on digging for things and arguing, ultimately allowing more time for them to get into writing.
