My Students

At our school, we strive to treat each other with respect, love, and compassion. Unfortunately, these students are in a high poverty, low-income environment, where all of our students at our school receive free breakfast and lunch. I teach PreK students in an underfunded, underprivileged rural setting. My students are faced with some challenges in their home life which include broken homes and sadness.

My students all have such endearing personalities and motivation to learn.

They always do their personal best in our positive classroom community.

My Project

Our students need more creative curriculum resources for our unit on Insects. We have specific units in Pre-k that we teach on various subjects and are limited to resources on the particular units. Students will use these various materials throughout the unit daily in small group/center time as well as during the creative curriculum daily read aloud. Please help our Pre-k students get more hands-on and visual learning experiences with these resources. They will enhance and better connect the students to the creative curriculum unit being taught.
