Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I teach an amazing, creative, innovative and brilliant group of 3-5 year old scholars. For many of these scholars, this is their first time being in school and every year I look forward to creating and maintaining a safe and fun place for learning. We are an inclusion Pre-K classroom where students are interacting and learning through literacy, math, and of course, play!

Each student in my classroom is a piece to our class puzzle.

When we are all together, virtual or not, we all bring something unique to the room. I look forward to being able to give my students all they need to be successful this year.

My Project

All of these materials will be used to give to students to make on-line learning easy for both them and their families! We will be focusing a lot about getting to know one another and how to navigate SeeSaw and Zoom.

With this "Backpack for Learning", young scholars will be able to take ownership of their learning and will have all the necessary tools to complete their work!

I plan on making and delivering each of these backpacks to scholars before the first day of online learning so we will all be ready to learn!
