Pre-K Autism Sensory Learning

Help me give my students a color printer for pictures cards used for communication and a sensory table.

My Project

In our classroom we use token charts, communication pictures and sensory materials to meet the needs of my students visually. Sensory toys with colors and emotion expressions gives my students a visual example. A color printer and velcro dots would help with communication pictures for token charts.

Using a variety of sensory toys increases or decreases stimulation in children with autism.

Using white boards and white board markers during writing activities increases fine motor skills and writing/drawing skills. Sensory bins are great for tactile sensory learning with imagination.

Studies have shown how sensory materials are important in teaching children with autism.
