My Project
Our school currently has two copiers and one copier for seven grades (four to five classes per grade). There is only one black and white copier available for our daily use. Our four, fourth-grade teachers are asking for a copier for fourth grade use only, to help give our students what they need more reliably and sustainably. We are working to make sure our learners with special needs and our general education learners are all on the same playing field and have equal access to all material.
Just imagine, machines being jammed/broken all day and night, machines running out of ink and ink on their way, waiting almost two hours for thirty copies you need right now; yet your kids still have to learn!
Our students suffer when we are unable to give them the worksheets/resources they need to help grow their brains. We have been practicing for the TnReady for weeks and we have not had individual copies for the students.
Our goal: allow our students to have a brighter learning experience with the resources they need, when they need them. Supporting our project would mean a world of change in our classrooms for all of our learners.
