My students need 15 combination locks to practice opening lock combinations as an transitional activity into middle school.

Imagine students from low to middle income engaging in global learning in both English and in Spanish. Daily, this can be seen and heard at my school. The K-5 students that I service are from diverse backgrounds, both economically and socially. However, all of our students have a passion for academic and global learning. We are a Title I school. Some of our students have limited resources outside of school; few do not have access to technology beyond school, however that does not stop our students from achieving their educational goals.
Our students enjoy learning, especially when technology and global learning is involved.
Our students are willing and enjoy learning as much as possible.
One of the biggest fears that fifth grade students have in regards to middle school is not being able to get into their lockers. I would like to have combination locks available to include in my transition to middle school classroom guidance lessons.
Practicing on combination locks would help to alleviate some of the anxiety that fifth grade students have when thinking about transitioning into middle school.
If students are able to practice beforehand, I believe that students would be less apprehensive about this big transitional period in their lives.
Students often relay to me that having a locker and being able to open it as quickly as needed within the time span allocated between classes is important.
