The Kindergarten, first, and second grade students that I work with are energetic, smart, and eager to learn. They love coming to school, playing, and developing their skills. Whether it's in individual counseling sessions, group work, or classroom lessons, my students are always excited to try new things and grow academically, personally, and socially.
I am very lucky to serve such a diverse, wonderful group of students and promote their learning and development.
I want to support the needs of my students by providing them with the resources and materials that they need to build and develop foundational social and emotional skills.
My Project
The materials I have chosen will be used for sensory exploration, counseling group facilitation, and psychoeducational lessons with my Kindergarten - 2nd grade students. Each item I selected will be utilized by my students when they participate in individual & group counseling as well as character education lessons.
The products I have selected will enhance my ability to connect with my students to develop their social and emotional skills.
Additionally, the community figures will aid in career exploration lessons with the elementary students that I serve. These practical, useful materials will help my students learn, grow, and develop critical skills in school!
