This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come from a low economic community. The majority of our students come from homes where they have single parents working hard to keep them financially taken care of. Despite the financial struggles, my students come to school prepared and eager to learn. Help me power their minds through snacks that they can eat throughout the day. When they are feed well and not worried about being hungry they will be able to keep focused.

Not only will the snacks provide them sustained energy, they will practice their social skills of asking what they need or want.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
