My Project

Every student deserves access to the tools they need to learn, create, and succeed. At our Title I school, technology has become an important part of how we engage students and provide meaningful learning experiences.In previous years, our students benefited from a 1:1 technology model, which meant that every student had consistent access to a device for learning.

This school year, our county has moved away from the 1:1 model, creating a new challenge for our classrooms.

With fewer devices available, students no longer have the same consistent access to technology that they have had in the past.

That is why I am hoping to build a classroom set of iPads. Having our own set of devices would allow students to have reliable access to technology right in our classroom, without having to wait for a shared device or limit activities because of availability.

These iPads would open the door to countless learning opportunities. Students could research, create presentations, practice skills, explore educational applications, collaborate with classmates, create digital projects, and demonstrate their learning in ways that go beyond traditional paper-and-pencil activities.

For our students, access to technology is not simply about having a device. It is about having access to opportunities. A classroom set of iPads would help ensure that a change in the technology model does not mean a reduction in the learning experiences our students can have.

Your support would help us create a classroom where technology is accessible, engaging, and available when students need it. Together, we can put powerful learning tools into our students' hands and help them develop the digital skills they will need for school, careers, and their futures.
