This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school (Las Vegas) has moved to a one-to-one model. As the year has gone on, I have noticed that students in my later class periods are having trouble keeping their Chromebooks charged. The problem I mainly have is that I only have 4 outlets that are accessible to students within my classroom. With classes of 30+ students, kids compete for charging ports. The students that are located away from the walls also have a difficult time charging their devices. These extended charging strips will provide much-needed relief to my students and help them keep up with the lessons in the new digital age.
