My Project

Welcome to our vibrant, curious, and energetic kindergarten classroom! Every day, my students step into our room ready to explore the world around them. While our school district generously provides our core, large-scale structural supplies, the magic of a classroom truly lives in the high-interest, tactile materials that spark immediate curiosity. To make our transition to a full play-based curriculum as exciting and impactful as possible, we need a few key intentional items to bring our learning stations to life.

Play is not just a break from learning; it is the learning by transforming our environment into an interactive space filled with open-ended materials, we are giving our youngest learners the chance to experience, practice, and apply academic concepts in a fun, exciting, and deeply meaningful way.

Your generous donation will fund the specific, hands-on materials that elevate our daily exploration across our learning centers:

The Dramatic Play Center: With a collection of 12 dress-up shirts and Melissa & Doug tabletop pizza, ice cream, and sandwich sets, students will step into real-world roles. These props provide rich, meaningful opportunities for students to develop oral language, expand their vocabulary through collaborative storytelling, and build vital social skills.

The Sensory & Science Centers: An interactive LED light table and several different sensory tubs will invite open-ended scientific inquiry, promoting problem-solving, fine motor development, and critical thinking as students sort, measure, and explore textures.

Cognitive & Fine Motor Stations: A variety of new puzzles will encourage perseverance, spatial awareness, creativity, and the independent skills needed to navigate the world.
