My Project
I love that my students show up every day with untapped potential, resilience, and creativity—even when life outside of school is challenging. As teens in a Title I school, they face pressures that could easily derail their motivation, and my goal is to keep that from happening. This project is designed to reward their efforts. The resources I’ve chosen —flavored water mixes, coffee pods, cups, and a cozy display—will become a literary-themed incentive station where students “earn a sip” through positive behavior, reading, participation, and academic growth. By tying rewards to meaningful goals, this station will help motivate students to stay engaged, celebrate their success, and build a sense of belonging in our classroom community.
