This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our second and third grade English Language Learners are currently learning and exploring careers they might want to have in the future. Learning about people who come from similar backgrounds, helps the kids to see the potential in a given career.

Role models inspire kids by showing them who they can be and how they can make a difference for their family and for their community.

These dolls will allow them to directly to interact with role models from the past and the present. Our kids will read biographies about these role models, and in doing so, see who they can become.
