My Project

In my classroom, I believe that positive behavior deserves positive reinforcement. Many of my students thrive when they are recognized for making good choices, staying focused, and putting in effort. However, not all of them receive consistent encouragement outside of school.

I would like to create a Mini Classroom Pantry, where students can exchange behavior points for small snacks and essential items.

Students will earn points for:

Completing assignments on time, Participating respectfully, Demonstrating kindness, Following classroom expectations, Showing academic growth

This system will promote responsibility, self-control, and intrinsic motivation while providing tangible rewards that make students feel proud of their efforts.

My students are energetic, curious, and capable of growth. Some struggle with behavior and focus, but they respond incredibly well to structure, consistency, and encouragement.

Many of them also face financial challenges, so small rewards like snacks or basic supplies can mean more than we realize. This mini pantry will not only motivate positive behavior but also quietly support students who may need a little extra help.

All food items will follow school safety guidelines and allergy policies.

The Mini Pantry will encourage accountability and goal-setting, reduce disruptive behavior, increase classroom engagement, strengthen positive relationships and create a supportive and motivating classroom culture

Instead of focusing on consequences, this project allows us to focus on growth, improvement, and celebrating success.
