Help me give my students classroom rewards for Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to promote achievement and positive progress in class!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are all extraordinary kids! Most of these students reside in a poor, urban area that is grossly underfunded, and, in some areas, lacking even the most basic of needs. Although many of them come from tough neighborhoods and lifestyles, they are strong, smart, and full of life. These are the scientists of tomorrow.
Each of these individuals has a mind for science and a contribution to make to the scientific world.
Their ingenuity is exceptional, and their thirst for learning is unquenchable. I learn more from them than they do from me! These kids are the kinds of kids that inspire innovation. They are the example that leaders should be following and the hope that will fuel the future.
My Project
Help me give my students PBIS Amazon Gift Cards to reward good attitudes, kindness, and classroom achievement. Our classroom budget for this school year was very small - this did not leave any room to ensure the students receive the rewards that students in better-funded communities might receive for academic, social, and emotional achievement. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) help to establish incentives and opportunities that create a classroom environment focused on creativity, learning, kindness, and expression. Students in my classroom desperately need these kinds of things to motivate them in a post-COVID learning environment.
Schools that have implemented school-wide PBIS have reported improved school climate, improved student achievement, reduced suspension and referral rates, increased attendance, and increased family participation.
Our school is in an underdeveloped area of the city and supports a whole host of families from all across the world. We are a sanctuary city and often encounter students who come from families who've been split up when immigrating or seeking refugee. Many of these kids have experienced homelessness, foster care, and poverty. This makes these cards a high need for these kids. Students in my classroom often use the requested gift cards to purchase essential items rather than those that are for leisure. In many cases, clothing or groceries are items often purchased with gift cards like these. I have previously known students to use their cards to buy formula for babies in their families at home. These kinds of supports are vital for students in struggling households. Please help me to ensure they know they are appreciated this school year!
More than half of students from low‑income households
