My Project

I teach in the Spanish Immersion setting at my school. I have about 30, amazing, 2nd graders and teach two classes. My students learn half of the day in English with me, and half of the day in Spanish with the Spanish teacher. I also have students whose native language is Spanish and are learning English. My goal for this project is to have some items to use as class rewards for positive behavior, as well as some functional items needed to help our classroom run more smoothly, and creative items to help us do some fun projects in the classroom! This makes a difference in their learning because the prize box items encourage positive behavior. The Cricut Joy and other supplies will help students to be creative with their reading, writing, and science projects as well as allow me to create some functional items to support student learning. Some of the other items help us get organized so our day runs more smoothly. My students are special because they are learning in two languages and always work hard and try their best!
