Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are part of a peer counseling program that allows upper-class students to grow into their leadership skills and transformation as a mentor and guide for underclassmen. This program allows them to mentor middle school students and present healthy relationships and substance abuse workshops. These peer counselors support our positive affirmation program.

We choose a different positive affirmation to display around the school and on social media every week.

To do this, we need quality posters and paint markers, which are difficult to come by on a school campus unless the students are bringing them from home. This project will help give us the tools to continue this positive affirmation project!
